Monica Cavalcante LCSW trauma and OCD therapist Fairfax VA

Trauma and OCD therapy. Serving clients in Burke, Clifton, Fairfax, Springfield and surroundings.

Mission & Vision

I view therapy as a collaborative process of developing a deeper relationship with yourself. Through curiosity and compassion, we begin to understand why certain thoughts, reactions, or patterns keep showing up.

I don’t see people as broken. I see people as having adapted to difficult experiences in ways that once made sense. With the right support, those patterns can shift, and healing becomes possible.

My Approach

In our work together, we will move at your pace. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and ERP to help you understand your inner experiences, process difficult memories, and reduce patterns like intrusive thoughts or avoidance.
